From Seminarian Adrian Sisneros:
Dear parish family,
I would like to inform all of you of my upcoming schedule as my pastoral year here at the St. Thomas Aquinas Newman Center begins to wind down.
I will be leaving for a month on Tuesday July 14th, and will return to this parish around August 14th to be with all of you for one last week, to welcome the collegians back for the fall semester (hopefully) and to say my final goodbyes to all of you before heading back to seminary in Mt. Angel Oregon on August 20th.
I will be serving at all the Sunday Masses during the Sunday of August 16 and will be serving all daily Masses during the week of August 17th before I leave on the 20th. I look forward to participating in Mass with all of you in this great parish one last time.
It is going to be hard to say goodbye to all of you, first of all because of the impact you have made on me through the great love you have shown to me during my time here. Secondly, I would like to express my love and gratitude to all of you for all you've done for me, for being who you are, for your love of Christ and his Church you have in person, however, that may not be easy to accomplish this year due to the COVID 19 pandemic restrictions. I will, however, make myself available at the parish during my final week to say goodbye in a safe manner to everyone who wishes to do so. You can email me at [email protected] to arrange a time to meet. You can also drop off any messages or letters with Joyce at the parish office at your convenience.
I will be keeping all of you and our parish in my prayers during my time away and I can't wait to see you all again in August.
God bless you all.
